Antonio Silva takes another hit, but only this time its outside the octagon.
After a little over 10 appearances with the promotion, ‘Bigfoot’ Silva and the Ultimate Fighting Championship are parting ways.
Debuting in May of 2012, Silva competed in his 11th UFC fight just a few weeks ago in Brazil. While ultimately it became another knockout loss at the hands of Roy Nelson, it has increased his losing skid to three. Silva only has one win in the past eight fights he has had as well.
Alex Davis, Silva’s manager, predicts he may end up in RIZIN FF or even Russia now that he has parter ways with MMA’s biggest promotion.
That possibility doesn’t seem too far out of sight either for Silva, at 37 years old ‘Bigfoot’ is on the downslide of his career and hasn’t looked himself in awhile.
