Conor McGregor vs Dennis Siver Targeted For January in Boston

Rising UFC featherweight star Conor Mcgregor may have to win one more fight before being granted a title shot, as it appears he’ll be stepping in the Octagon with Dennis Siver on January 18th at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

MMA Junkie revealed surprising news just a few moments ago. It was initially thought that McGregor would fight the winner of this weekends featherweight title fight between champion Jose Aldo and challenger Chad Mendes.

Conor McGregor is 4-0 in his UFC career and stands out from many other fighters due to his style and confident self promotion.

Dennis Siver is an 18-fight veteran of the UFC, sporting an 11-6-1 record while in the organization. The fight is a surprising match-up due to the fact the McGregor is currently ranked at No. 5 in the featherweight division, and Siver sits at No. 10.

With both men possessing explosive striking and unique skill-sets, you can expect a very entertaining battle between the two.
