Dana White Spoke To Georges St-Pierre About Returning At UFC 200
UFC president, Dana White, sat down with FOX Sports for a UFC 196 post-event interview to discuss the crazy night of fights. During the interview, former UFC fighter, Chael Sonnen, asked Dana White if the UFC was eyeing a massive fight between Conor McGregor and former UFC welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre, if McGregor had beaten Diaz.
Dana White went on to say that it was not the plan at all, that St-Pierre had attended the UFC 196 event because he wanted to. Sonnen then asked White if he’s at least had a discussion with St-Pierre, about a possible UFC 200 return – White replied “Yes”.
Georges St-Pierre hasn’t fought since he won a controversial decision over Johny Hendricks, at UFC 167. MMA fans have been teased for months about a possible GSP comeback, something that would be great for the UFC and the UFC 200 card, should he return on that date.
One fighter many fans would love to see Georges St-Pierre make his comeback against, is former middleweight champion, Anderson Silva.
Chael Sonnen asks Dana White the question at the 2:00 minute mark of the interview below.
