3 Fighters To Follow After UFC Fight Night 99: Belfast

The UFC’s doubleheader of last Saturday did not feature any superstars. However, we had a chance to see some fighters on the rise who are looking to becoming prospects in 2017. After their perfomances at Belfast, these are the three fighters you have to keep an eye on:

Abdul Razak Alhassan

Born in Ghana, Alhassan made his UFC debut this weekend and it was remarkable. He fought a fellow debutant, Charlie Ward, an Irish teammate of Conor McGregor. The Ghanaian only needed 53 second to destroy his opponent. Alhassan’s power looks impressive for the 170-pound division.

He just landed 12 strikes and they were enough to knockdown Ward 3 times. His performance earned him an espectacular TKO and $50,000.

Although he is 31 years old his professional record is just 7-0. He used to practice judo and transitioned to MMA in 2013. His seven wins have been via KO/TKO. All in the first round and four of them inside the first minute of the bout. In his seven fights he has only been in the cage for 5:38.
