As it was reported on Monday, a group of 5 high-profile UFC fighters and the former CEO of Bellator announced today the creation of the Mixed Martial Arts Athletes Association (MMAAA).
The board is formed by former champions Georges St-Pierre, Cain Velasquez and TJ Dillashaw, as well as fan favorites Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone and Tim Kennedy.
“We’re here to make sure that no fighter in the UFC gets left behind,” said the special forces sniper and Army Ranger Tim Kennedy. “The fighters are running this association. Period. End of story.”
