UFC women’s bantamweight, Holly Holm recently spoke about her highly-anticipated debut against Raquel Pennington at UFC 184. Holm was supposed to make that debut against the very same opponent back at UFC 181. Unfortunately, Holm suffered a neck injury and was forced out of the bout.

Now the former Legacy FC and Boxing champion is feeling very anxious that the moment is getting closer.
Here’s what she said during a UFC 182 media scrum:

“I’m just really anxious to get in there and fight again. Last year I had one fight in the entire year and the year before was six fights in 12 months. I’m definitely getting really antsy. My nerves are high. It is a huge mental hurdle.

I’m just really excited and want to get in there. I’m just glad that I’m healthy. I feel like I have a lot to prove so I don’t like to talk so much about the championship fight right now because Raquel Pennington is first.”

Holly Holm is a perfect 7-0 in MMA. She won six of those fights via T(KO). Many people are hoping Holm can one day challenge current UFC women’s bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey. But as Holm stated in the media scrum, her focus is set on Raquel Pennington, for now.

UFC 184 takes place on February 28th, 2015 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
