The women’s strawweight champion will defend her belt at the UFC 205, the first UFC event in New York, according to a FloCombat report.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk (12-0) will defend her belt for the 4th time since winning the title at UFC 185 against former champion Carla Esparza. She now faces fellow Polish fighter, Karolina Kowalkiewicz.

Jedrzejczyk posted this photo on Instagram holding a bout agreement, but did not name the opponent. Kowalkiewicz is the expected contender in a Pole vs Pole title fight.

Kowalkiewicz (10-0) is coming off a win against top contender Rose Namajunas at UFC 199.

UFC 205 also features Tyrone Woodley defending his welterweight title against Stephen Thompson and Donald Cerrone vs. Kelvin Gastelum as part of the main card.
