Meet The New Owners Of The UFC

William Morris Endeavor-International Marketing Group merged in 2013 when they originally purchased IMG. Ari Emanuel and Patrick Whitesell are the main owners of WME-IMG while Silver Lake Investments, Egon Durban, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Michael S. Dell have part-ownership and help run things also at WME-IMG.

Emanuel already helped out the UFC in 2011 by helping them get the television deal with FOX and even helped fighters like Jon Jones get sponsorships with big brands such as Nike and Gatorade in the past. Emanuel started his career with the Creative Artists Agency and then started his own company called Endeavor. Emanuel teamed up with Whitesell to merge everything to WME in 2009.

Whitsell is a former agent that worked with United Talent Agency and was the head of talent at Creative Artists Agency for six years and then merged everything with Emanuel as mentioned above. Whitesell was an agent for celebrities such as Ryan Reynolds, Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal in the past.

It will be exciting to see what will come of the UFC with the new ownership. Vendettafighter.com will keep you up on the details for the future.
