Michael Bisping Says Half The UFC Roster Are Pus*ies

Long-time UFC veteran Michael Bisping recently spoke about the process of him becoming the short-notice replacement to take on middleweight champion Luke Rockhold at UFC 199.

During the media scrum, Bisping revealed he was just wrapping up a movie shoot in Toronto when he heard that Chris Weidman had pulled out of the fight due to injury. He then texted UFC president Dana White to let him know he was more than willing to take the fight.

Dana White told Bisping that Jacare was the their first choice and they’d get back to him. Fortunately for Michael Bisping, Jacare Souza was banged up from his UFC 198 victory over Vitor Belfort and was unable to accept the fight.

Here’s what Bisping had to say about the situation:

“I’ve said it before, two years, two months, two weeks, two days – I don’t care. Half of this UFC roster are pus*ies, they wouldn’t take this fight, Jacare wouldn’t take this fight, makes me sick. I’ll fight anyone, anytime, any place. I just proved that by taking this fight on two weeks notice. I’m going to walk off a movie set, walk into the Octagon, I’m going to take Luke Rockhold’s belt, he’s going to lay on the floor, he’s going to wake up, look up at the stars and say ‘Fu*k, this guy just beat me on two weeks notice.'”

Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold fought once before, back at UFC Fight Night 55. Rockhold landed a head kick that sent Bisping tumbling to the ground before getting a mounted guillotine choke to end the fight.

Bisping is currently a 5-1 underdog on most sports betting websites to pull off the victory at UFC 199.

UFC 199 takes place on June 4th, 2016 at at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
