In the lead up to TUF: Australia vs UK or otherwise known as The Smashes, UFC President Dana White says the show has been taken to another level.
White’s first comment was to a fan on Twitter.
“Smashes is fucking NUTS!!! Craziest season of TUF EVER!!!!!”
He continued.
“These guys have definitely made the second international ‘TUF’ show can’t-miss TV. Going into this thing, I had no idea just how much the Aussies and the Brits can’t stand losing to each other. Now I know.”
With this season about to begin & the North American version debuting on Friday the UFC is looking for a rebound for the show that suffered so poorly in the ratings last season. Dana is using his hype to drum up interest but in the end the viewers will determine if the shows are a success.
