Daniel Cormier Suggests Pat Barry As An Opponent For His Next Fight

Strikeforce heavyweight grand-prix winner, Daniel Cormier has today been suggesting possible opponents to face him on the November 3rd card in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, offering up UFC Kickboxing machine, Pat Barry as a possible opponent.

Posting via his Twitter account, Cormier said:

“@danawhite offer the fight to @HypeOrDie he’s from Louisiana like me. He will take the fight. Let’s do it!”

Barry isn’t exactly a top level opponent for Cormier to test himself against, considering Barry has lost three of his last four fights against Cheick Kongo, Stefan Struve and Lavar Johnson.

His sole win during that period is a first round knockout win over Christian Morecraft on January’s UFC on FX card. But with a lack of fighters stepping up an offering their services, UFC might have to make the fight.
