UFC president Dana White, spoke to Ariel Helwani at the conclusion of the post fight press conference and revealed that Donald Cerrone’s next fight in the Octagon will be with Anthony Pettis. The fight will determine who the next lightweight contender will be, after Nate Diaz gets his shot at Benson Henderson.

At the UFC 150 post fight press conference, Donald Cerrone was asked about the potential of fighting Anthony Pettis, a match-up both fighters have publicly said they would welcome.
“That is a fight I would definitely love to do. I’ve got to try and control my emotions. When I fight out of emotions, it doesn’t end up too well. I’m going to just stay away from all the crap-talking.
We do what we do. The fight’s going to get signed, so sign, train hard, and I’ll see you when I see you. Other than that, we don’t need to talk about it, right?”
It’s rumoured that Nate Diaz will get his title shot on UFC’s end of the year card on December 29th in Las Vegas. Or another event which it could take place is UFC on FOX 5 which goes down on December 8th.
