UFC 150 is expected to take place August 11th. Denver, CO is rumoured to be the city hosting but at this time no venue or official card has been released. However, it appears a major main event will be announced soon.
Benson Henderson’s first lightweight title defense will take place at that event against former champion Frankie Edgar. Henderson defeated Edgar at UFC 144 in Japan this past February in a closely contested fight.
This will be the third straight opponent Edgar has faced were he has back to back fights. He first defeated BJ Penn then rematched him. After that it was Gray Maynard & now on to Henderson.
