Aaron Simpson decided to drop down to welterweight for his next fight. It appears he will be setup in a difficult debut for his division debut as he will face Jon Fitch.
No date has been set for this bout at this time but UFC 149 in Calgary, AB this July may be the most likely card for it to be on.
Fitch is looking to rebound after a devastating knockout loss to Johny Hendricks at UFC 141 last December. Simpson is coming off a loss as well but hopes a move down in weight class will help him rebound.
