During today’s media conference call, promoting the upcoming seventeenth season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’, UFC president Dana White revealed that Jon Jones vs. Chael Sonnen will take place in New Jersey as a pay-per-view.
Jon Jones is not cleared to fight until April 2013, due to an elbow injury sustained in his UFC 152 fight against Vitor Belfort.
April 27th is the likely date for Jones vs. Sonnen to take place. The two men will begin filming the reality show next week in Las Vegas.
The show itself will debut sometime in January, and an FX executive has revealed that they are moving away from the Friday time-slot for the broadcast of the episodes.
