What a crazy past twelve hours for the UFC. After Dan Henderson was forced out of UFC 151′s title fight, which eventually led to Jon Jones rejecting Chael Sonnen as a replacement, it has now been revealed by mmafighting.com that Lyoto Machida has declined a rematch with Jones.
In an amazing turn of events, Vitor Belfort has now been taken out of his UFC 153 middleweight fight with Alan Belcher, and been slotted in to face Jones.
Ranking wise, the fight does not make much sense. But the UFC was not left with many options. UFC 152 takes place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on September 22nd 2012.
