MMA Fighter Killed In Car Accident

Professional MMA fighter Chris ‘SlaughterHouse’ Smith (1-2) was killed in a three vehicle crash in Ohio on Thursday evening.

Police said a gray or possibly silver vehicle, which could be a Saturn, tried to pass in a no-passing zone on Route 73. This caused an oncoming vehicle to swerve and hit Smith’s car head-on.

Dominique Steele was a passenger in the car with Smith. He was airlifted to University Hospital in Cincinnati with non-life threatening injuries. Steele has a 6-2 professional professional MMA record with one of those wins coming in Strikeforce.

Ohio State Police said that the driver of the other vehicle continued eastbound and did not stop after the crash.
