A hearing was held today for Nick Diaz by the Nevada State Athletic Commission in regards to his post UFC 143 failed drug test for Marijuana metabolites.
Nick Diaz is suspended for one year from the date of the Carlos Condit fight, also must forfeit 30% of his purse. Which means his suspension will be up in February 2013.
Diaz made $200,000 for his UFC 143 fight, so will forfiet about $60,000.
One of the biggest issues the NSAC had with Diaz, was the fact that during his pre fight questionnaire he failed to disclose any kind of therapeutically or prescribed use of Marijuana.
