Former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, took to his official Twitter account and pleaded with his boss, Dana White to give him his original UFC 153 opponent, Glover Teixeira in his final fight with the promotion, promising the two men will put on a fight of the night performance.
“Yo @danawhite set up that fight with Glover please! Lets give him what he wants..fans I won’t let u down #fightofthenight”
Jackson has suffered back-to-back defeats inside the octagon after a fourth round submission loss to champion, Jon Jones and a unanimous decision to ‘Ultimate Fighter’ season eight winner, Ryan Bader. Prior to that he’d won four of five inside the octagon.
