Reza Madadi Saves Toddler From Drowning

Swedish UFC fighter Reza ‘Maddog’ Madadi is officially a hero as he helped save a toddler from drowning on August 3rd in the Stockholm Archipelago.

The fighter was kayaking & stopped for some lunch. He witnessed a one & a half year old child fall from a nearby pier. The child’s father quickly dove in to help save his son but Madadi reacted as well.

Madadi’s life saving skills he learned from a fireman preparation course came in handy. He immediately jumped into the water and saved both father & child from the waves and rapid current.

Madadi spoke about the ordeal.

“Everyone just panicked but I didn’t even think, I just acted on instinct.

I could tell the man was very upset, but at the same time relieved. It’s easier said than done to act fast in situations like these. The problem is that many people start to think, but there is no time for thinking.”

Madadi was praised by an on looker who felt the child would have perished if it wasn’t for his quick thinking heroics.
