The state of New Jersey has designated referees & judges for the UFC on FOX 3 event on May 5. A former UFC fighter will be one of the judges assigned to the event.
Ricardo Almeida has been assigned as a judge to the Josh Koscheck-Johny Hendricks fight. Jeff Blatnick & Cardo Urso are the other two judges who were named.
Almeida complied a 13-5 professional MMA record before he decided to retire a year ago. Quickly after his retirement he became certified as a judge in the state of New Jersey. Along with becoming a judge, Almeida has focused on his family & teaching at his academy.
