Official Silva vs Bisping Scorecard – How Did You Score It?

UFC Fight Night 84 was headlined by a middleweight bout between former champion, Anderson Silva, and long-time UFC fighter and UK star, Michael Bisping. The fight lived up to the exceptions, as it had some very exciting and shocking moments throughout the contest.

Michael Bisping surprised Silva and many fans, when he dropped the Brazilian twice during the fight. But the biggest moment of the fight came at the end of the third round, when Bisping was looking over at referee, Herb Dean, in hopes of getting his fallen mouthpiece back. While Bisping took his eyes off Silva for that brief moment, Silva loaded up on a flying knee, that connected on Bisping’s chin and dropped him.

Silva thought that he had ended the fight at the moment, however, the horn signaled the end of the round, while Silva began to celebrate prematurely. Referee Herb Dean then explained to Silva that the fight was in fact not over, and ordered him to his corner to prepare for the fourth round.

At the end of the contest, all three judges awarded Bisping the 1st, 2nd and 4th round to give him the unanimous decision victory over Silva.

Although the decision itself was not too controversial, there was a lot of fans who felt the decision should have gone to the former champion, Anderson Silva.
