UFC 181: Johny Hendricks vs Robbie Lawler – Medical Suspensions

UFC 181: Hendricks vs Lawler took place on December 6th, 2014 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event was headlined by the highly-anticipated welterweight title rematch between Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler. Lightweight champion Anthony Pettis made his return to the Octagon and faced Gilbert Melendez in the co-headliner and a heavyweight fight between Travis Browne and Brendan Schaub also took place on the main card.

Eddie Gordon: Requires post-concussive clearance from neurologist or sports medicine doctor prior to starting contact training; minimum suspension no contest until March 7th, no contact until February 5th.

Brendan Schaub: Suspended until February 5th, no contact until January 21st due to upper lip laceration.

Anthony Hamilton: Suspended until January 21st, no contact until January 6th due to right forehead laceration.

Tony Ferguson: Suspended until January 21st, no contact until January 6th due to right forehead laceration.

Raquel Pennington: Suspended until January 21st, no contact until January 6th due to forehead laceration.

Johny Hendricks: Suspended until January 6th, no contact until December 28th due to tough fight.

Todd Duffee: Suspended until January 6th, no contact until December 28th due to forehead laceration.

Matt Hobar: Suspended until January 6th, no contact until December 28th due to left eye hematoma.

Sergio Pettis: Suspended until January 6th, no contact until December 28th.

Clay Collard: Requires orthopedic clearance on left forearm or no contest until June 6; minimum suspension no contest until January 6th, no contact until December 28th.

Alex White: Suspended until January 6th, no contact until December 28th due to left upper eyebrow laceration.

Good news for UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis fans.
